September 5, 2007 New Student Registration Day Please come by American Ballet Academy between 5 and 8 p.m. to register for fall classes! Whereas advanced registration in not required it is strongly encouraged to guarantee your choice of class as enrollment is limited! October 31, 2007 Happy Halloween! No Class! Happy Trick-or-Treating!!! November 17, 2007 Nutcracker All-Cast Rehearsal Everyone please come! All-cast rehearsal of The Nutcracker starting at 1:30 p.m. for Act I, 3:00 Act II. Location TBA. November 22, 2007 Happy Thanksgiving! No Class, eat lots of turkey! December 1, 2007 Nutcracker All-Cast Rehearsal Last chance to practice The Nutcracker with the full cast before we're on stage! 1:30 p.m. Act I, 3:00 Act II. December 8th, 2007 Dress Rehearsal Our only on-stage practice! Dress rehearsal starts at noon. Read the Newletter for details regarding your class. December 8-9, 2007 The Nutcracker Please come to ABA's The Nutcracker on Saturday, December 8 at 7:00 p.m. or Sunday, December 9 at 2:30 p.m. All proceeds to benefit the Pediatric Ward of the Salem Hospital! December 14, 2007 ABA Christmas Party Come for fun, friends, games, prizes and food! 7:30 p.m. at ABA. Please bring food to share with everyone. We will draw Secret Santa’s in November! December 21 - January 1 Holiday Break! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! No classes. Drink apple cider and hot chocolate to stay warm! February 18, 2008 President's Day No class! March 2008 American Academy of Ballet's Performance Awards We are aiming for a Saturday in March before Spring Break. Things are still being coordinated. The exact date will be given as soon as possible. March 22, 2008 Easter Weekend No class - Happy Easter Egg hunting! March 24-29, 2008 Spring Break Plan a fun vacation! May 26, 2008 Memorial Day No class... hope for beautiful weather! may 31, 2008 All-Cast Rehearsal Everyone please come! First All-Cast rehearsal for the show. Act I @1:00 pm, Act II @ 2:30, location TBD. Bring water! June 7, 2008 All-Cast Rehearsal Last All-Cast rehearsal for the show before we are on stage! Act I @ 1:00pm, Act II @ 2:30 location TBD. Bring water! June 14, 2008 Spring Performance! Performance at 7 p.m. with dress rehearsal starting around noon. More information to follow. June 20, 2008 End of the year party! Last party of the year! Come celebrate all of our friends and accomplishments, and bring food to share! (Classes continue until the end of June as normal. We then switch to the summer schedule.
