September 10, 2009 First Day of Fall Classes First day of fall classes! We have a lot of fun things planned this year, and I am excited to have everyone back! September 1, 2009 First Wednesday Come celebrate First Wednesday at ABA! Will take new students as class size permits. November 26, 2009 Happy Thanksgiving! No class, eat lots of turkey and pumpkin pie! December 5, 2009 Nutcracker All-Cast Rehearsal Plan to come! All-Cast rehearsal for the Children's Nutcracker starting at 1:15 for Act I and 3:00 for Act II at ABA December 12, 2009 Nutcracker All-Cast Rehearsal Last chance to practice the Children's Nutcracker with the full cast before we are on stage! 1:15 Act I and 3:00 Act II at ABA December 13, 2009 ABA Christmas Party Come for fun, friends, games, prizes and food on SUNDAY, December 14! 3:00pm at ABA. PLease bring food to share. Info for Secret Santas to follow. December 19, 2009 Dress Rehearsal Our only on-stage practice! Dress rehearsal starts for the oldest students at noon with everyone else to follow. Please keep your eyes on the Newsletter for details and times regarding your class. December 19-20, 2009 The Children's Nutcracker Please come to ABA's The Children's Nutcracker on Saturday, December 20 at 7pm or Sunday, December 21 at 2:30 pm at the Historic Elsinore! All proceeds to benefit the Pediatric Ward of the Salem Hospital! December 21-January 2 Holiday Break! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! No classes. Drink apple cider and hot chocolate to stay warm, and have fun with your families! February 15, 2010 President's Day No Class! March 22-27, 2010 Spring Break Plan a fun vacation! April 3 Performance Awards! American Academy of Ballet's Performance Awards. This is a wonderful, motivating event for your child to participate in! I hope you can join us. Exact date to be set soon. April 3, 2010 Easter Weekend No class; just Performance Awards! Good luck, and Happy Easter Egg hunting! May 31, 2010 Memorial Day No class, hope for beautiful weather! June 5, 2010 All-Cast Rehearsal Everyone please come! First all-cast rehearsal for the Spring Show. Act I at 1:15, Act II at 3:00 at ABA. Bring water - it might be hot! June12, 2010 All-Cast Rehearsal Last all-cast rehearsal for the show before we are on stage! Act I at 1:15pm, Act II at 3:00pm at ABA. Remember, bring water!!! June 19, 2010 Dress Rehearsal Dress rehearsal starts for the older students at noon with younger students to follow. Please check the newsletter for your student's specific times. June 19, 2010 Spring Performance! Performance will start at 7pm. More info to follow! June 25, 2010 End of the year party! Last party of the year at 7pm! Come celebrate all of our friends and accomplishments, and bring food to share! (classes will continue until the end of June as normal. We will switch to the summer schedule in July.
