Anne Joslin
A Salem native, Mrs. Joslin is a former American Ballet Academy student. She graduated from South Salem High School, and continued to Texas Christian University on dance scholarship. At TCU, Mrs. Joslin graduated summa cum laude with a BFA in Ballet and a BBA in Entrepreneurial Management. She has had the privilege to work with the renowned dancers Madame Baranova and Fernando Bujones. Mrs. Joslin's professional training led her to perform with Eugene Ballet and Ballet Concerto. She toured Europe with Pegine Spetacolo Aperto, an Italian ballet company.Mrs. Joslin has choreographed for TCU and South Salem High School. Her choreography has been featured at performances by Salem Pop's Orchestra and Clay Ball. Her dancers have been invited to perform for numerous other local organizations including local retirement homes and Downtown's First Wednesday. Mrs. Joslin was chosen as Ballet Mistress for Moscow Ballet's Nutcracker Performance in 2007. Mrs. Joslin is an ABT® Certified Teacher, who has sucessfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Primary through Level 3 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum.Mrs. Joslin came to American Ballet Academy as director in 2004, and has continued the studio's objective of excellence. She strives to bring enjoyment through her own love of dance while inspiring students to reach their potential.
